At Send Rover on Over, we are a Positive Reinforcement Training Center. Hundreds of dogs in the Ventura County area have participated in our Positive and Proactive Training Programs. Our training philosophy focuses on forming companion relationships with your dog in a positive way, capitalizing on your dog’s individual personality, and having fun while learning. Behavioral Consultations for behavior modification of barking, fear, and aggressive behaviors are available.
Basic Training Class for Your Dog
This is for dogs over four months of age. There are no prerequisites required for this class. We will teach you to teach your dog to sit, down, stay, come, the name game, leave it.

Dog Agility for Fun
This is one of our most popular classes. A Basic Class is recommended to help you with this class. You and your dog will have fun becoming familiar with traditional agility equipment. This class is heartwarming, joyful for parents, and a real confidence booster for your dog. Super beginners to pre-competitive dogs participate in these classes. This fun class meets weekly for four weeks and costs $100.00 total, limited to four dogs per class. Please call us to reserve your spot in the next class.
Private Lessons on or off campus are $100.00 for a 45-minute session
Here are some tips for finding a good dog trainer:
- Ask what training methods they use. Positive reinforcement is the best and most current method of training your dog.
- Ask them where they received their formal training from. Are they certified? Certified trainers belong to organizations that promote healthy and professional training methods without using aversive tools.
- Before you commit, ask if you are welcome to sit in on a lesson without your dog to make sure it’s a good fit.
